Cheshire Police detectives investigating a serious assault of a woman in Nantwich town centre, have charged a man in relation to the incident.

Nathan Johnson was arrested on Saturday 18 May.

The 20-year-old of New Bridge Street, Maryport, has since been charged with section 18 assault and public order.

Nathan Johnson has been bailed to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 17 June (Cheshire Police).

The charges relate to an incident on Welsh Row, Nantwich on Saturday 18 May, where a woman was allegedly assaulted.
