A Nantwich town centre pub is hosting weekly quiz and karaoke nights, encouraging local residents to attend with family and friends.

The Talbot, Oat Market, run by Josh Norman and Josh Kerr, on behalf of Marston's, serves an extensive food menu with a wide range of beer.

With a spacious patio area to the front, The Talbot food includes burgers, grills, pub classics and desserts, as well as a Sunday roast menu (12pm to 6pm).

Every Thursday, The Talbot hosts its Pub Quiz, running from 8pm to 10pm.

Visitors can form a team of up to six and enter for free.

Food is served at the venue from 12pm until 8pm, with winners of the quiz awarded a gallon of beer.

Then, every Friday, The Talbot hosts a Karaoke Night, hosted by DJ Neil.

Every Thursday, The Talbot hosts its Pub Quiz, running from 8pm to 10pm (The Talbot).

Promoting the event, The Nantwich pub said: "Whether you are a seasoned performer or just love singing along with friends, this karaoke night is the perfect opportunity to showcase your vocal talents and have a blast.

"Choose from a wide selection of songs, from classic hits to current chart-toppers, and take the stage like a true rockstar.

The Talbot is open from 11am to 11pm (Sunday to Wednesday) and 11am to 1am (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) (The Talbot).
