A local pub has applied to open theee hours earlier everyday, allowing the venue to serve breakfasts for customers.

This November, Hawthorn Leisure No 4 Limited applied to vary the premises licence on behalf of The Vine Shavington, Rope Lane.

The pub owner wants to extend The Vine's morning hours, opening at 9am instead of 12pm.

The Vine's premises licence application says: "Take notice Hawthorn Leisure Holdings No 4 Limited has applied to vary for the premises licence for Vine, Rope Lane, Shavington.

Hawthorn Leisure No 4 Limited wants to extend The Vine's morning hours, opening at 9am instead of 12pm (The Vine Shavington).

"The proposed variation has been submitted to request the change of opening hours to allow the premises to open from 9am for provision of breakfasts"

Representations to shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Tuesday 3 December.

The Vine Shavington was recently taken taken over by new management and reopened following a large refurbishment in October.

Currently, the venue is open 12pm to 11pm (Sunday to Thursday) and 12pm to 12.30am (Friday and Saturday).
