Traffic delays expected on major road in Nantwich until weekend

Traffic delays are expected on a major road in Nantwich until the weekend, with two-way signals currently in place.

The temporary signals were placed on Crewe Road, Willaston, close to The Peacock, on the morning of Monday 22 July.

United Utilities are responsible for the waterworks, allowing utility repair and maintenance to take place.

It is expected the works will be completed by Saturday 27 July.

The pedestrian footpath around the works is also closed. An alternative route has been provided.
