Starbucks is set to open its first ever coffee outlet in Nantwich in February 2026, after submitting plans to Cheshire East Council in October 2025.

The American coffee giant submitted advertisement consent for a projecting sign, fascia wordmark, an internally mounted roundel, fascia wordmark and a projecting sign at 35 High Street.

Taking on the former WHSmith unit for a February 13 opening, the application comes from the UK's franchise partner of Starbucks, 23.5 Degrees.

The advert says: "23.5 Degrees are looking for an experienced, passionate and motivational store manager to join our team.

"We are Starbucks' first ever UK franchised partner with 101 retail coffee stores.

"We celebrate equality and diversity and believe that all our partners (employees) should bring their true selves to work.

Starbucks operates two outlets in nearby Crewe, located on Market Street and Weston Road (drive thru).
