Newly opened Nantwich venue applies to serve alcohol until 11pm

A popular Nantwich breakfast and lunch venue has applied to serve alcohol until 11pm, planned to be used for special events.
On Friday 22 August, Toast Haus, Pillory Street, submitted a premises licence application to Cheshire East Council.
Run by Nantwich residents, Mitchell Green, 31, and Mitchel Hodges, 34, since May, the pair have over 30 years of hospitality experience between them.
Toast Haus operates a 16-seater ground floor venue, located at the former Guayoyo Venezuelan restaurant.
It serves a variety of breakfast and brunch items, toasted sandwiches, light bites, and sides along with alcoholic beverages, hot drinks and soft drinks.
Toast Haus seeks permission for the supply of alcohol, 11am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday, and the provision of recorded music 8.30am to 11pm, seven days a week.
The licensing application is on display at Pillory Street venue, set to host special Christmas evening events this December.
Toast Haus' premises license application reads: " Notice is hereby given that I, Mitchell Green have applied on 21 August 2025 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as Toast Haus, 28 Pillory Street, Nantwich.
"This is to vary premises licence PREM1559 to vary the hours for licensable activities as follows:
"Recorded music, Monday to Sunday, 8.30am to 11pm and the supply of alcohol, Monday to Sunday, 11am to 11pm."
Representations to Toast Haus' application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Thursday 18 September.
