By Ryan Parker 27th May 2026
A new Thai restaurant chain will soon be opening in Nantwich, at the site of another Asian eatery which closed this spring.
Kin Thai Restaurant has announced it will be launching on Pillory Street, formerly operated by Aroi Thai.
Operated by Chris Vaughan, Sunshine and team, Aroi Thai offered authentic Thai food and decor until it ceased trading on 5 April.
Despite not citing a reason for closure, Aroi Thai thanked all of its customers for creating memories and being part of its story.

Kin Thai, which operates in Erdington, Tamworth and London, has confirmed it will be opening in Nantwich for dine-in, takeaway and delivery.
In a social media statement, Kin Thai Restaurant said: "Something delicious is coming soon.
"We're getting ready to bring authentic Thai flavours to Nantwich Town
"Fresh ingredients, traditional recipes, and warm Thai hospitality, coming very soon.
"Follow our page for updates, menu previews, and an opening date."
Opening hours have been confirmed as 12pm to 3pm and 5pm to 10pm (Tuesday to Friday) and 12pm to 10pm (Saturday).
