Nantwich taphouse nominated for 'Best Pub' at National Pub & Bar Awards

A popular Nantwich taphouse has been nominated for the 'Best Pub' at the National Pub & Bar Awards 2026, set for Tuesday 10 June at Big Penny Social in London.
The Leopard, London Road, is a county nomineee alongside The Church Inn, Mobberley and The White Horse, Churton.
Organised in conjunction with Pub & Bar magazine, the National Pub & Bar Awards showcases the UK's finest pubs and bars on a national scale.
Each year it crowns the best venues within 94 counties across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Headline sponsored by Tyrrells, the awards, celebrating its 10-year anniversary, also hands out 'Highly Commended' titles for other outlets in these counties, meaning hundreds of accolades are on offer.
The Leopard Nantwich said: "We're delighted to announce that we've been nominated in the Best Pub category at the National Pub & Bar Awards.

Over 250 acclaimed pubs and bars are invited to the National Pub & Bar Awards Grand Final this summer to discover the 2026 'County Winners,' 'Regional Winners' and overall 'National Pub & Bar of the Year.'
Editor of Pub & Bar magazine, Tristan O'Hana, said: "Our bigger and better format that debuted in 2025 was such a success, we can't wait to roll it out again this year.
