Nantwich man charged following 'several' shoplifting incidents at town shops

A Nantwich man has been charged following several shoplifting incidents, taking place at two shops in the town.

On Saturday 4 May, Cheshire Police received reports of a local male who had stolen items from convenience stores on Beam Street and Middlewich Street.

Michael Anthony Finley, 41, of Nantwich, was detained and arrested by officers.

The Nantwich man has since been charged with three counts of theft from a shop.

Finley will appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 4 July.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: On Saturday 4 May, we received a report of a male who had stolen items from two convenience stores in Nantwich.

"Michael Anthony Finley, 41, of Nantwich, has been charged with three counts of theft from shop and will appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 4 July."
