Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crashing into Nantwich house

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving, after his vehicle ploughed into a house in Nantwich.

On Sunday 26 October, Cheshire Police were alerted to an incident on Pratchetts Row.

At 5.15am, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a car had smashed into a property.

The crash caused minor damage to the dwelling, with the driver, an 18-year-old man, arrested around 5.30am.

The 18-year-old man has since been released under investigation (Google).

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 5.15am on Sunday 26 October, police were called to reports of a collision on Pratchetts Row, Nantwich.

"The collision involved a vehicle which had collided with a house, causing minor damage.

"An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. He has since been released under investigation."
