Local man, 36, charged with shoplifting in Crewe and Nantwich

A local man is set to appear in court this February, after being charged with two counts of theft from shops in Crewe and Nantwich.
Carl Dummett Walker, 36, of Crewe South, was arrested by Cheshire Police around 12.50pm on Sunday 2 February.
These arrests came after the man stole from a store on Station Road, Nantwich, on Thursday 17 October, 2024.

Dummett Walker then proceeded to steal from a store on Oak Street, Crewe, on Saturday 18 January.
The man has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 20 February.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Local officers have charged a male for shoplifting in Crewe and Nantwich.
"Carl Dummett Walker, 36, of Crewe South, was arrested at around 12.50pm on Sunday 2 February).
"He has since been charged with two counts of theft from shop.
"He has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 20 February.

"The first shoplifting incident occurred on Thursday 17 October at a store on Station Road in Nantwich.
"The second shoplifting incident occurred on Saturday 18 January at a store on Oak Street in Crewe."
