Firefighters tackle blaze in front garden of Nantwich home

Fire crews tackled a blaze in the front garden of a home in Nantwich, in a late night incident.

On Tuesday 30 April, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Queens Drive.

At 11:55pm, one fire engine from Nantwich arrived at the scene.

Nantwich firefighters put out the garden blaze using a hose reel jet.

No one was injured in the late night incident, with firefighters using a thermal imaging camera to ensure the area was safe (Ryan Parker).

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A fire in the front garden of a property was put out by firefighters using a hose reel jet.

"The surrounding area was inspected with a thermal imaging camera for hot spots."
