A leading variety discount retailer looks set to be opening a new store in Nantwich, after several job vacancies for the town appeared online.

Poundstretcher, which has over 400 UK stores, has listed vacancies for a store manager, deputy manager, key holder and general sales assistant in Nantwich.

The location listed on the job adverts is for CW5 5AR, High Street.

Currently, Poundstretcher's nearest store to Nantwich is located at The Market Shopping Centre in Crewe, five miles away (Ryan Parker).

Established in 1981, Poundstretcher employs around 6,000 staff nationwide, offering over 5,000 products at a discounted price.

Items sold include: food and drink, toiletries, household goods, garden essentials, furniture, electrical goods, and children's toys.

Poundstretcher also has a wide selection of pet care products within its 'Pet Hut" section.
