Plans have been submitted to convert a Nantwich garage into a new pottery studio, with work only to take place on the inside of the building.

Applicant, Samantha Jackson, of 114 Hospital Street, has applied for the change of use of a garage to the rear of the building.

The garage has a working toilet inside, as well as waste facilities.

With the property sitting in land of archeological potential, Cheshire East Archeology reviewed the proposals.

If approved, this garage will be converted into a new pottery studio (Cheshire East Planning).

A statement read: "Having reviewed the supporting documentation along with the information held on the Cheshire Historic Environment Records, I can see that this current application is unlikely to disturb significant below ground archaeological deposits.

"Therefore, there are no further archaeological recommendations for this current application."

The last date for submitting comments on the Hospital Street application is Wednesday 29 May, with a target decision date of Tuesday 18 June.
