Firefighters called to tree blaze on Nantwich residential street

Firefighters were called to a blaze involving trees on a Nantwich residential street on Sunday evening (31 May).
At 8.03pm, one fire engine and a rapid response rescue unit from Nantwich arrived at Stapeley Terrace, off London Road.
The flames were already out when fire crews arrived, involving multiple conifer trees.
No one was injured in the incident, with the Nantwich firefighters using a hose reel jet to dampen down the area,
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Crews responded to a fire involving conifer trees which was out on arrival.
"Firefighters used a hose reel jet to dampen down and carried out thermal imaging scans of the affected area."
