A former community centre site in Nantwich has been listed for auction on 25 June at a guide price of £150,000.

Brookfield Hall, next to Brookfield Park, off Shrewbridge Road, is being marketed by BTG Eddisons for a possible redevelopment opportunity.

The building, leased by Nantwich Town Council from Cheshire East Council since 1992, ended in March 2026.

This 34-year lease was brought to an end after town councillors agreed the building was no longer used enough.

Cheshire East Council agreed the land, including allotments would be sold off as soon as possible.

BTG Eddisons say: "This is a potential redevelopment opportunity comprising a single storey former community centre occupying a good size plot of circa 0.28 acres (0.11 hectares) and offered with vacant possession.

"Internally, the accommodation extends to approximately 191 Sq.M (2,124 sq.ft) detailing a number of rooms along with kitchen and W.C facilities.

"The property could be suitable for re-development or for a variety of future uses, subject to any necessary consents.

"The property is accessed off Shrewbridge Road at the sign for Brookfield Park and Brookfield House Residential Home with the subject property being situated next door to Brookfield House.

"Nantwich town centre is a short distance away and offers a variety of amenities and facilities."

The sale of Brookfield Hall will take place on 25 June by way live streamed auction and is being sold under the unconditional sale type.

Binding contracts will be exchanged at the point of sale. Register to bid HERE.
