Female cyclist, 25, in hospital with 'serious' injuries after being hit by car in Nantwich

A female cyclist was rushed to hospital with serious facial injuries, after being hit by a car in Nantwich.
On Monday 12 May, emergency services received reports of an incident on Peach Lane, Nantwich, close to Alvaston Hall.
Around 4.45pm, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service arrived at the scene, discovering a woman had been knocked off her bike by a Toyota Prius.

Police taped off Peach Lane for several hours, with the cyclist rushed to Royal Stoke Hospital for further treatment, where she remains at this time.
Her injuries are not thought to be life-changing or threatening.
The driver of the Toyota, a man from Crewe, was not injured in the crash and no arrests were made.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 4.45pm on Monday 12 May, officers responded to reports of a road traffic collision on Peach Lane, Nantwich.
"The collision involved a black Toyota Prius and a cyclist.
"The cyclist, 25-year-old woman, sustained serious facial injuries and was taken to Royal Stoke Hospital for further treatment, where she remains at this time.

"Her injuries are not thought to be life changing or threatening.
"The driver of the Toyota, a man from Crewe, was not injured during the incident.
"No arrests have been made."
