226 incidents and 19 arrests made across Nantwich area in two weeks

Cheshire Police dealt with 226 incidents and made 19 arrests across Nantwich and surrounding villages during the first two weeks of March, according to the local neighbourhood policing team.
Figures covering the period 1 to 14 March show violence and harassment accounted for 17.7 per cent of all reported incidents, making it the most common issue officers dealt with.
Other incidents included domestic-related reports (9.7 per cent), concerns for safety (8.8 per cent), suspicious activity (8.4 per cent), highway disruption (5.3 per cent) and anti-social behaviour (4.9 per cent).
From the incidents attended by officers, 79 crimes were recorded, including 22 harassment and public order offences, six assaults, six residential burglaries, six shoplifting offences and three drug possession offences.
Across the area, Nantwich South and Stapeley recorded 21 incidents, while Nantwich North and West saw 20 incidents.

Police also recorded 14 incidents in Wrenbury, 11 in Bunbury, nine in Audlem and four in Wybunbury.
During the two-week period officers made 19 arrests, involving 13 men and six women aged between 20 and 60, with 13 of those arrested being Nantwich residents.
Among those arrested was a woman charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine following a warrant conducted at Wesley Close on 3 March.
Police said she was remanded in custody to appear at the next available court.
In a separate incident, a 44-year-old man was arrested following an altercation with staff at Morrisons, Station Road, on 10 March.
Police said he was later charged with criminal damage, common assault and a public order offence.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the next available court.
Nantwich Police said: "It's been another busy couple of weeks for our neighbourhood team out and about in the community."
