A women's clothing store chain is planning to open a new store within the Nantwich area, after two job roles were posted online for the town.

Bonmarché, which has around 225 stores, including Victoria Centre, Crewe, is now recruiting for a store manager and supervisor in Nantwich.

Founded in West Yorkshire in 1982, Bonmarché sells clothes for mature women, offering casual wear, smart dresses and accessories.

Earlier this year, Draper revealed Peacocks, Bonmarché and Edinburgh Woollen Mill (EWM) were looking to open 100 new UK stores within the next 18 months.

Bonmarché's new Nantwich job listings are available to apply for on Simply Hired.

The store manager job advert reads: "Here at Bonmarche we have a fantastic opportunity for a store manager based in our new store in Nantwich.

"If you would like to be part of a forward-thinking business and have a job with excellent career prospects, we would love to hear from you.

"As well as being part of an exciting and dynamic team you will also have the opportunity to gain an industry recognised qualification within your first 18 months of you wish to do so.

"As store manager, we are looking for a well rounded and commercial 'retail manager' who is proactive in their approach and can work using their own initiative, fashion retail experience is desirable however not essential as full training provided.

Bonmarché's Nantwich location is yet to be revealed, with Nub News contacting the clothing company for comment and whether this impacts its Crewe store.
