An upcoming indie band is set to perform at a Nantwich nightclub and entertainment venue this September, for their only North West gig of 2024.

The Zangwills will be performing live at The Studio, Castle Street, on Friday 6 September.

Running from 7pm until 10pm, The Zangwills will be supported by local indie band, Unit 17.

After meeting at Sir John Deane's College in Northwich 2017, the Zangwills released their debut single, New Heights in December that year.

Made up with Jack Vickers (vocals, guitar, synth), Sam Davies (lead guitar), Ed Dowling (bass, backing vocals) and Adam Spence (drums and percussion), they have released music steadily since.

This includes two EP's 'It's Really Up to You' (2018) and 'In Amongst the Glitter '(2019), with most recent single, 'Walking on a Wire' (2023).

Describing The Zangwills, BBC Introducing said: "These are dead, dead, DEAD good."
