Major roads in Nantwich closed until the weekend

Two major roads in Nantwich are closed until the weekend, allowing a drainage investigation to take place.

Audlem Road and Broad Lane, closed on Monday 5 August, with works expected to be completed by Saturday 10 August.

The road closure runs from Audlem Road, at its junction with Peter De Stapleigh Way, to Broad Lane, at its junction with Hatherton Road.

Cheshire East Highways are carrying out the drainage investigation, taking place 24/7.

Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times, including The Globe (Ryan Parker).

Cyclists are required to dismount in order for access to be maintained. 

Access is be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.
