Teenager arrested on suspicion of burgling and vandalising Nantwich nightclub

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage, after breaking into a Nantwich nightclub over the weekend.

On Sunday 8 September, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident at The Studio, Castle Street.

At around 3.45am, officers on patrol in Nantwich stopped the boy close to the scene.

The 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage (Nub News).

The teenager, 16, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage.

Following questioning, the boy has since been released on bail.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: " At 3.45am on Sunday 8 September officers on patrol in Nantwich stopped a teenager following reports of a burglary at a business premises on Castle Street. 

The 16-year-old boy was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage.

Following questioning, the 16-year-old boy has been released on bail (Cheshire Police).

Following questioning the teenager has since been released on bail.
