A suspected drug driver has been released on bail after crashing into a parked car in Nantwich earlier this August.

On Sunday 17 August, Cheshire Police received reports of a collision on Welsh Row.

At 5.35pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a grey Audi A3 had driven into a parked car.

Following enquiries, police arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of drug driving.

The man has since been released on bail with investigations ongoing.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 5.35pm on Sunday 17 August, police were called to reports that a grey Audi A3 had collided with a parked car on Welsh Row in Nantwich.

"Officers attended and arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of drug driving. He has since been released on bail."
