Nantwich is set to celebrate the world of C.S. Lewis as St Mary's hosts a special event marking the 75th anniversary of The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe on Saturday 25 October, from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors of all ages can walk through the Wardrobe, talk with Aslan, enjoy tea with Mr Tumnus, colour in Narnia, play Lewis's favourite game, and explore the story in art and at Lewis's home.
There is even a chance to eavesdrop on the Inklings, the literary group of friends who inspired much of Lewis's work.
Published on 16 October 1950, The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe is the first of Lewis's seven Chronicles of Narnia novels, written over a decade and now beloved worldwide.

This special event celebrates the imagination, creativity, and timeless charm of C.S. Lewis.
Entry is free, and all are welcome, drop by any time during the day to enjoy a magical journey through Narnia.
Set in the heart of Nantwich, St Mary's Church, one of England's finest medieval churches, provides a stunning backdrop for a day of wonder and discovery.
