Friday - Halloween Party @ The Wilbraham Arms

The Wilbraham Arms is hosting a Halloween Party on Friday 31 August,

Running from 8pm until late, The Wilbraham Arms will hand out prizes to the best dressed.

Expect a DJ and lots of fun. This event is over 18s only.

Sunday - Nantwich Tree of Light Service @ St Mary's Church

Nantwich Tree of Light Service takes place at St Mary's Church on Sunday 2 November (St Mary's Church).

People are invited to gather outside St Mary's Parish Rooms on Sunday 2 November at 5.30pm, where the Tree of Light will be illuminated with a short service of prayer, hymns and poetry, giving you the chance to reflect on memories of someone special.

People are invited to make a donation of £5 to dedicate a bauble on Nantwich' s Tree of Light to a loved one or a special cause.

Donations can be made at Nantwich Civic Hall where you will be given the opportunity to fill a bauble with a name, message or items of your choice.

Those who have previously purchased a bauble, can return it to the Civic to be re-hung for a donation of £3.

In addition, names can be also be listed on Nantwich Town Council webpage of remembrance.

This year the Tree of Light is dedicated to Josh Stockton, whose sad passing at the age of just 22, has touched the whole community.

The full cost of the tree is covered by Nantwich Town Council and all donations will be divided between the Mayor's charities, and St Mary's Church.
