Retirement village celebrates 30 years of community living in Nantwich
By Ryan Parker 2nd Mar 2026
Richmond Villages Nantwich recently celebrated its 30th anniversary with a special birthday party for its community.
Residents, their families and staff marked the milestone together with a glass of bubbles, a celebratory meal prepared by the village's chefs, and a range of activities to bring everyone together.
Resident, Margaret Goodwin, who has lived at Richmond Villages Nantwich for 28 years, thoroughly enjoys her time at the village.
Residing in the village since 1998, Margaret is part of a knitting group and knits cardigans for herself and as gifts for others.
Margaret told Nub News "I felt at home from the very beginning. The village is warm and friendly in both its design and its people, which made me feel comfortable straight away.

"I'm so pleased I moved here almost 30 years ago,"
2026 is a special year not only for Nantwich, but for Richmond Villages as a whole, as it celebrates 30 years of providing independent and assisted living to communities across its 10 locations in the UK.
Village Manager, Lynne Griffin, said: "We're all delighted to be celebrating 30 years of dedicated care and building our villages as welcoming communities for our residents.
"We've achieved so much over the last three decades and we're looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish next."
Richmond Villages will be celebrating its anniversary throughout 2026.
