A new family-run accountancy firm has opened its doors in Nantwich town centre, offering a fresh, tech-driven approach to financial services for local businesses and residents.

The New Age Accountants, located at 30 Hospital Street, next to the entrance to Cocoa Yard, first opened on Monday 13 April.

Run by experienced trio Mandy Morley, Jamie, and Olivia Palios, the business brings together over 50 years of combined experience in finance and accounting.

The firm specialises in supporting small and medium-sized businesses, landlords, and individuals with a range of services including accounts, tax returns, payroll, and Making Tax Digital (MTD).

Nantwich resident, Mandy, told Nub News: "Myself and Jamie have come from the franchise Tax Assist in Crewe and set up our own business in Nantwich with my daughter Olivia, who has also been a good friend of Jamie's for 20 years.

"With over 50 years of finance and accounting experience between us, our small team, The New Age Accountants, is a modern, efficient, friendly and approachable practice, offering services in accounts, tax returns, payroll and MTD.

"We specialise in all accountancy services for the likes of small and medium-sized businesses and landlords.

"The New Age Accountants is the only high street accountancy practice in Nantwich. We are set up like a shop, with people free to just come in.

"Olivia is the accountant and the brains behind this business, with us all on board. We started with no clients, but have been busy since opening, with lots of people coming in.

"We offer no-obligation appointments because we are confident in what we do, offering a quality, good-value service to all our clients.

"Everything here is software-based. We are avoiding paper as much as we can and use AI where possible to help us.

"We have a referral scheme open for local businesses. If a client refers somebody to us, we give them a £20 gift card for a local business in return. Our list has over 20 businesses on it already."

The New Age Accountants team hosted a special office launch opening event on 25 April, welcoming visitors with free prosecco and cupcakes.

Mandy said: "I have lived in Nantwich for the past eight years and we all live locally, it's a lovely town.

"We knew there was a gap in the market here and are confident we can make a success of our business.

"I love everything that goes on in Nantwich and how vibrant it is. The town just has an overall nice vibe about it, and I love visiting all the local food and drink spots.

"There are so many quality small businesses here. It is a pleasant market town and just a lovely place to meet up with people."

The New Age Accountants is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 1pm on Fridays, with appointments available outside these hours on request. For enquiries, call 01270 236416.
