£20k garden giveaway launched: Exclusive with Nantwich Rowlinson Chairman

A family-run Nantwich-based company is celebrating its centenary year, by giving away more than £20,000 worth of garden products to website visitors.
The Rowlinson Group, based on a 20-acre site in Wardle near Nantwich, has launched a nationwide competition as part of its 100th anniversary celebrations.
The giveaway, running until the end of May, will see 100 winners receive products from the Rowlinson range.
Prizes include Vienna and Prestbury lounger sets, St Tropez and Florence canopies, six-seater dining sets, hardwood plant stands and metal deck boxes.

Rowlinson Group Chairman, Jimmy Rowlinson, told Nub News: "The Rowlinson family have been involved with Crewe Alexandra for nearly 65 years, but we are also celebrating 100 years in business in 2026.
"As part of our celebration, we would like to invite anyone to visit Rowlinson Garden Products and enter the draw for 100 free garden products from wooden planters to garden furniture sets worth over £20,000.
"My grandfather started our business in 1926, when he bought an old farmyard on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal in Trafford Park.
"After serving in the RAF and after WW2, my father worked in Willaston where we manufactured motor cases for Fords and Vauxhalls we exported all over The Commonwealth.
"In 1966, the year of England World Cup victory, my father bought the site in Wardle, where Rowlinson Packaging was created.
"That now serves all of the car industry, including JCB, Perkins and Bentley in their packaging needs.
"Rowlinson Garden products was created when containerisation came about and we didn't need to make many creates for export.
"I turned to manufacturing garden buildings and this is what we did throughout the 1980s - making garden buildings and structures for the likes of Homebase, Texas HomeCare and Do It All.
"That still goes on today, still manufacturing at Wardle, but we also import and distribute garden furniture from Vietnam, China and Poland."
All entries must be submitted by 5pm on Sunday 31 May. Entries received after this date will not be accepted.

Jimmy added: "Under my leadership, we have started manufacturing garden buildings for the European market and hopefully soon for the American market.
"My son William is now involved with all the consumer products sold through various retailers and internet sites. He is leading the fourth generation of the Rowlinson Family into the future."
