South Yorkshire indie rock band, Reverend and the Makers are set to perform live in Nantwich this spring, celebrating the launch of new album 'Is This How Happiness Feels?'
The Sheffield group, most famous for top 10 hit 'Heavyweight Champion of the World,' will be at Nantwich Civic Hall on Monday 11 May.
Fronted by new Sheffield United FC Chairman, Jon McClure, Reverend and the Makers have six top 20 albums to their name since their debut record 'The State of Things' in 2007.
Organised by Nantwich's only independent record shop, Applestump Records, Reverend and the Makers will peform songs from their new album, set for release on April 24.
Their Nantwich show is their third of a five-stop tour starting at Kingston's Circuit via Banquet Records on May 7 and ending at Manchester's Gorilla via CRASH Records on May 14.
Other shows include a hometown gig at Sheffield's Foundry via Beartree Records on 8 May and Liverpool's Jacaranda Baltic on 13 May.

Applestump Records said "We at Applestump Records on Oatmarket are very excited to announce that we will be bringing the excellent Reverend And The Makers to the Civic Hall in May to celebrate the release of their new album, 'Is This How Happiness Feels?
"The follow-up to their Top 10 album 'Heatwave In The Cold North', this 13-track collection blends uplifting, vintage soul with sharp, modern storytelling.
"Produced by Danny Lafrombe and Jon McClure, it's their most accomplished work yet."
