Skoda driver rescued following three-car crash on Nantwich Bypass

A Skoda driver was rescued from their vehicle following a three-car crash in Nantwich, with no serious injuries reported.
On Wednesday 21 January, emergency services were alerted to an incident on the A51 Nantwich Bypass, Willaston.
Shortly before 6pm, Cheshire Police, North West Ambulance Service and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service discovered a collision, involving a red Mercedes, grey Audi and grey Skoda.
The driver of the Skoda, who was trapped, was medically rapped in the vehicle by Crewe and Nantwich firefighters, before being passed into the care of paramedics.
No one was arrested in the incident, with the A51 cleared and reopened by 8.40pm.
All casualties involved in the Nantwich crash are expected to make a fully recovery.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Shortly before 6pm on Wednesday 21 January, police were called to a collision on the A51, Nantwich Bypass.
"Officers attended and found there had been a collision involving three cars, a red Mercedes, a grey Audi and a grey Skoda.
"The driver of the Skoda was medically rapped in the vehicle and released by firefighters before being passed to the care of paramedics.
"None of the occupants are reported to have sustained any life-changing injuries.
"The scene was cleared by 8.40pm."
