Police have made six arrests in Nantwich and the surrounding area since the weekend, including incidents involving driving offences, public disorder and domestic-related matters.

In the early hours of Saturday morning (22 August), a 33-year-old man was arrested on Nantwich Road in Wardle on suspicion of disqualified driving and failing to provide a breath sample for analysis.

Later that evening, a 34-year-old man from Wistaston was arrested for being drunk and disorderly outside the Malbank Pub. He was later charged.

In the early hours of Sunday morning (23 August), a 56-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

Later that morning, officers arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly breaching a court order.

Shortly after midday on Monday (24 August), a 32-year-old man from Edleston was arrested on suspicion of domestic-related harassment. He was later charged.

Then, shortly after 11pm on Wednesday (27 August), a man was arrested in connection with numerous domestic-related offences. He remains in custody.

Cheshire Police is urging anyone with information about crime or suspicious activity in their area to report it.
