Shop Local Nantwich Awards gain momentum with almost 1000 nominations
Nantwich is showing up in full force to support its independent business scene, with the Shop Local Nantwich Awards receiving over 900 nominations for 90 businesses – and there is still time to add your voice.
The awards aim to celebrate the independent spirit, exceptional service, and unique stories behind Nantwich's local businesses.
From standout retailers and market traders to beauty experts and customer service stars, the community is recognising the people who make the town shine.
With nominations closing on Thursday 31 July, the public is encouraged to continue putting forward their favourite local businesses for recognition before the deadline.
The organising team behind Shop Local Nantwich said: "These awards are about more than just accolades, they are about celebrating the soul of our town.
"The support so far has been incredible, and we can't wait to shine a spotlight on the finalists."
Once nominations close, a shortlist of finalists will be announced in August. The public will then be invited to vote for their winners in each category from September through to November.
The winners will then be revealed at an awards night on 31 January 2026, hosted by Shop Local Nantwich, The Cat Radio, and Dave Christie of Cheshire Business Coaching.
