Police issue burglary alert across Nantwich area
By Ryan Parker 11th Feb 2026
Residents are being urged to check their home security, following a number of burglary incidents reported across Nantwich in early February.
On Dingle Lane, Bridgemere, a property and attached wooden sheds containing farming equipment were broken into between 1 and 4 February.
A shed door had been forced and, on further inspection, the main dwelling was also found to have been entered with items stolen.
In the early hours of 5 February, three suspects attended a home on Victoria Mill Drive, Willaston. They tried the door handle and shook the door, loosening the bolt and waking the occupant, who disturbed them.
On Barony Road, Nantwich, two sheds were broken into after padlocks were snapped off sometime between 2 and 9 February.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "We want our local community to feel empowered that they know how to keep their property as secure as possible."
Officers are encouraging residents to review their home and outbuilding security and make use of crime prevention advice available online.
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or report online.
