Icelandic indie folk/rock band, Of Monsters and Men, are set to perform in Nantwich this Autumn, celebrating the launch of fourth album, 'All is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade.'

Of Monsters and Men's Nantwich gig comes as part of a UK record store tour this October, also performing at venues in Kingston, Brighton, London, Sheffield and Liverpool.

Just like Sophie Ellis-Bexter's visit to South Cheshire this September, Nantwich is the smallest settlement on another big artist's 2025 record store tour.

Tickets, cd and vinyl bundles go on sale exclusively through the Applestump Records website at 5pm on Wednesday 13 August.

Applestump Records said: "We are incredibly excited to announce that we will be bringing the amazing Of Monsters and Men to Nantwich this October to celebrate the release of their brand-new album, 'All Is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade'.

"Of Monsters And Men went from Reykjavík to the global stage with their breakout 2011 debut 'My Head Is An Animal', which propelled them from Icelandic indie darlings to international chart-toppers.

"The album's breakout single 'Little Talks', a defining song for a generation, now boasts over one billion Spotify streams.

"The title and beating heart of their fourth album hits a lot closer to home than you'd expect. A tapestry of stories, moments, and conversations. The album explores how love and pain intertwine.

"So join us to the backdrop of our stunning St Mary's Church for an evening that will be simply magical.

Applestump Records is open 10am to 5pm, (Monday to Saturday) and 11am to 4pm (Sunday) (Jonathan White).
