Nantwich's Christmas lights switch-on will return on Friday 20 November with live entertainment, late-night shopping and a special performance from a Dua Lipa tribute act.

The traditional event, confirmed by Nantwich Town Council, attracts thousands of people to the town centre to kick off the festive season.

Nantwich Market will open from 9am, while the Dua Lipa tribute act will take to the stage from 6pm.

Ex-Cat Radio presenter, Chris Radford, will host the celebrations ahead of the big switch-on at 7pm, when the town's Christmas lights will officially illuminate the streets.

The town's Christmas tree, sponsored by AFH Wealth Management, will take centre stage as Nantwich gets into the festive spirit.

Shoppers will also be able to browse the town's independent businesses during late-night shopping, with shops staying open until 7.30pm.

The traditional market will also remain open late for the occasion, giving visitors more time to enjoy the festivities and support local traders.
