A dedicated Nantwich swimmer is making a splash for charity as she embarks on a major months-long challenge to raise funds for Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith children's hospices.
Caroline Jones, 58, began her ambitious effort in September and is aiming to swim 20 lengths of the 25-metre pool at Crewe Lifestyle Centre every week for 26 weeks.
The challenge will take her through the winter and into spring 2026, all in support of a cause she cares deeply about.

Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith provides vital care for children with life-threatening conditions, along with emotional and practical support for their families from the moment of diagnosis.
Caroline, who has cerebral palsy and limited use of her left arm and leg, has been swimming with Seahorse Swimming Club in Crewe for five years.
She also volunteers at the Hope House charity shop on Swine Market in Nantwich, where she has been helping since 2024.
Seahorse Swimming Club Secretary, Gareth Roberts, said: "Caroline shows incredible determination every time she gets in the pool.
"This challenge gives her a real focus during her sessions, and she knows her hard work will make a difference to a charity that means so much to her."

Supporters can sponsor Caroline via this JustGiving page, or by visiting the new Hope House shop in Nantwich.
Seahorse Swimming Club, founded in 1956, is known for its inclusive ethos, supporting swimmers with disabilities and building confidence in the water.
The club meets every Thursday evening at Crewe Lifestyle Centre on Moss Square.
