Nantwich's Applestump Records has confirmed it is participating in National Album Day 2025, taking place on Saturday 18 October.
Now in its seventh year, National Album Day stands as a global celebration of the album format, sitting proudly alongside Record Store Day and RSD Black Friday as one of the biggest events in the vinyl calendar.
This year's theme is Rock, following previous editions that have highlighted Women in Music, Debut Albums, Great British Groups, and the albums of the 90s.
Unlike Record Store Day, there is no need to queue at dawn. All National Album Day releases are available to preorder now for collection in-store on the day or via mail order.
Around 60 limited edition vinyl titles are planned, giving collectors and music fans the chance to secure something truly special.

Owner of Applestump Records. Steve Cook, said: "The great thing about vinyl is that it's designed to be played in the order the artist intended, it really lends itself to the album format."
"It is great to be able to bring these international celebrations, like National Album Day and Record Store Day, to Nantwich.
"Events like these shine a light on the importance of independent record shops and the enduring magic of the album."
To mark the occasion, Applestump Records will also host a live vinyl DJ set from local favourite DJ Steve Wood, adding to the celebratory atmosphere in-store throughout the day.
