A Nantwich pub has applied to change the layout of its premises, adding new seating to the bar area.

On Monday 22 July, Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited, on behalf of The Peacock, Crewe Road, submitted a premises license application to Cheshire East Council.

The Peacock seeks permission to change the layout of its premises, adding new fixed seating to the bar area and dining areas.

The licensing application is on display at the Nantwich venue, which is open 12pm to 10pm (Monday), and 12pm to 11pm (Tuesday to Thursday).

The Nantwich venue is also open 9am to 11pm (Friday and Saturday) and 9am to 10pm (Sunday).

The Peacock's premises license application reads: "Notice is hereby given that we, Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited have applied on 22 July 2024 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as The Peacock, 221 Crewe Road, Nantwich.

"The minor variation seeks to vary the layout of the premises. Works include new fixed seating to the bar, all day and dining areas."

Representations to The Peacock's application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Monday 5 August.
