By Ryan Parker 9th Feb 2026
Nantwich motorists are set to face delays at a major junction in the town, with a seven-week gas works programme due to start this February.
From Tuesday 17 February, Cadent Gas will be carrying out works from the junction of Newcastle Road and Elwood Way.
Multi-way traffic signals will be installed at the South Cheshire junction during the works, expected to last until April 8.
Gas pipe maintenance works are also taking place on London Road, close to Regent's Park, from February 9 to 25, with multi-way signals set to be put up.

A Cadent Gas spokesperson said: "We're carrying out important maintenance works on our equipment, this activity ensures we can continue to provide a safe and reliable gas supply to local businesses and residents.
"We look after the gas pipes in your area. We make sure the pipes that bring the gas to your home keep you safe, warm and connected.
"We're replacing the old pipes with new plastic ones which will mean that you'll be ready for greener gas in the future.
"We'll have to turn off your gas supply during some of our works and may need access to your home."
