Nantwich man, 26, arrested on suspicion of drug driving following town pursuit

A Nantwich man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving, driving while disqualified and other offences, following a police pursuit in the town.
On Friday 28 November, Cheshire Police's Roads and Crime Unit attempted to pull over a Vauxhall car in South Cheshire.
Around 9.58am, after the driver failed to stop for officers, he was eventually stopped on Whitehouse Lane.
As well as the listed offences, the Nantwich man was also arrested for failing to stop and having no insurance.

He currently remains in police custody, with the Vauxhall seized.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "A 26-year-old Nantwich male arrested following pursuit off Whitehouse Lane this morning.
"At 9.58am this morning (November 28), a male was arrested by Cheshire's Roads and Crime Unit.
"After initially failing to stop the driver was located and arrested on suspicion of drug driving, failing to stop, disqualified driving and no insurance.
"The vehicle has been seized and the arrested male remains in custody."
