A popular Nantwich gin business has applied to sell alcohol for consumption off the premises, with the run-up to Christmas now underway.

On Thursday 31 October, Cheshire Botanicals Limited submitted a premises licence application of behalf of its pop-up shop at 4 Cocoa Yard.

Cheshire Botanicals Limited: The Home of Nantwich Gin, are a family business based in the Nantwich countryside.

Cheshire Botanicals Limited seeks permission for the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises, five days a week (Cheshire Botanicals Limited: The Home of Nantwich Gin).

Born out of lockdown, the small business sells a variety of Nantwich gin and gin accessories.

Now, the Nantwich business seeks permission for the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises, five days a week.

The premises license application reads: "Notice is hereby given that we, Cheshire Botanicals Limited have applied on 31 October 2024 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as 4 Cocoa Yard, Nantwich.

"This is for premises licence to provide the following licensable activities: Sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises, Monday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm."

Representations to Cheshire Botanicals Limited's application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Thursday 28 November.
