Nantwich Bookshop & Coffee Lounge is set to welcome two fascinating authors to town this March, including a BBC Sport producer.

On Friday 14 March, BBC correspondent Giles Goford will discuss his memoir, 'Head for The Floodlights.' at the High Street venue.

The book recounts his childhood obsession with football and a remarkable journey with his father in 1988 and 1989, visiting all 92 Football League grounds.

On Thursday 20 March, local author, Kate Blakemore, will launch her second book, 'The Motherwell Journey' (Jonathan White).

Despite his dad not being a football fan, the trip became a powerful bonding experience during a challenging time in their lives.

Tickets are £16 (£25 per couple) and include a copy of the book and a complimentary drink. Doors open at 5.45pm, with the event starting at 6.15pm.
