A popular Nantwich bar and diner had permanently closed down, following what the business has described as "impossible' financial challenges.
On Saturday 12 October, Kennedy's Bar and Diner, High Street, announced it was closing with immediate effect.
Launched by Louise Read and team in 2022, Kennedy's was given permission to extend its opening hours until 2am this August.
The business also had a short stint at Crewe Market Hall, with this now replaced by Vietnamese and Japanese eatery, Granny Pho & Ramen.
In a social media statement, Kennedy's Bar and Diner said: "It is with great sadness we have had to make the tough decision to close Kennedy's doors permanently.
"It has been a financially challenging year with ever increasing costs in all areas, making it impossible to keep trading any longer.
"We have been very grateful to have met so many lovely people along the way.
"Free toast Tuesday social club, our amazing DJs, regular diners and drinkers, and of course our fantastic farmers and students. We will miss you all."
Back in August, Louise told the Cheshire East licensing committee she was trying to continue trading during "harsh conditions" for the hospitality industry.
Despite the Nantwich businesses' best efforts it has unfortunately had to close.
