'Marmite' the cat patiently waiting for her forever home in Nantwich
By Ryan Parker 10th Mar 2026
Marmite is being cared for by RSPCA Stapeley Grange Cattery in Nantwich and has been in the charity's care for 79 days.
Sadly, the 13-year-old has not been getting an interest from potential adopters and is patiently awaiting a forever home.
Deputy Cattery Manager, Nicola Chilton, said: "Marmite really is the sweetest girl and is the most loving and affectionate cat that you could wish for
"She always greets us at the front of the pen with friendly head bumps and an excited quivering tail. She even does a happy tippy tappy toe dance to show her enthusiasm. You just cannot get a better reception than that.
In RSPCA care Marmite has needed some extensive dental work and treatment, and now is ready to find her perfect match.

Marmite could live with older children and she could potentially live with a cat of a similar age and temperament.
She will need the option of outdoor access once settled into her new home but may decide that she prefers her indoor home comforts and not venture out too much.
Nicola said: "Marmite did have a bit of a tough time because she developed an infection after her dental work, requiring several medications.
"She was so well behaved and tolerant of all her treatment; despite needing daily medication, her temperament remained loving and affectionate.
"Now she's fighting fit and just patiently waiting for a loving home.
