Man in 60s found deceased in Nantwich home after blaze

Cheshire Police have launched an investigation following the death of a man at an address in Nantwich.
At around 7.15pm on Tuesday 19 May, emergency services were called to reports of a fire on Welsh Row.
Police and fire attended the scene and on arrival they found a fire in a residential property which was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
Sadly, a man, believed to be in his 60s, was found deceased in the property.
His next of kin have been informed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and a cordon is currently in place at the scene.
Detective Sergeant George Booth, of Crewe CID, said: "Our thoughts are with the family of the deceased at the current time, and we request for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
"Enquires in relation to the incident remain ongoing and I would ask local residents not to speculate while we establish exactly what has taken place."
