Greater Manchester man charged with assaulting emergency worker in Nantwich

A Greater Manchester man has been charged with several offences, following an incident in Nantwich this December.
Ben Birchall, of Wigan, was arrested around 11.30am on Friday 12 December in the Welsh Row area of town.
The 23-year-old has since been charged with several offences, including two counts of assault of an emergency worker and two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin)
He has also been charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (crack cocaine) and possession with intent to supply class B drugs (cannabis).
Birchall, of no fixed address, but of Wigan, has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 12 January.
