By Ryan Parker/Jonathan White 18th Sep 2026
German indie pop/rock duo barn54 are heading back to Nantwich as their epic 'From Athens to Aberdeen Tour' continues through the UK.
Heidelberg-based musicians, Simon Buss and Sina Ray, have spent much of the year travelling across Europe in their touring van, performing their energetic acoustic shows at venues and festivals across the continent.
Now, after crossing the Channel, the duo are bringing their music to a series of UK venues, including a return to Nantwich.
Barn54 will perform at The Wilbraham Arms, Welsh Row, on Friday 2 October from 8pm, with Nantwich-based singer and guitarist, Jonathan Tarplee, joining them for the show.
The pair have built a growing following through their distinctive mix of heartfelt storytelling, melancholic ballads and rock-driven anthems.

They have now amassed more than 1.5 million Spotify streams, with fan favourites including The Shades Song, Answer in the Sky and Still Fighting.
Simon and Sina said: "We're really excited to be coming back to Nantwich and continuing our UK adventure.
"We love the atmosphere, community and vibe at The Wilbraham Arms, and we're really looking forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new people and having another great night there.
"After travelling from Germany down through the Balkans to Athens, then all the way back across Europe and into the UK, it's incredible to think about everywhere this tour has already taken us.
"We can't wait to play some of our new songs, share stories from the road and have a brilliant night with everyone in Nantwich."
The Nantwich show is part of a busy run of UK appearances for barn54, with dates also scheduled in Whitchurch, Wellington, Warwick, Crewe, Stoke, Abingdon, Taunton, Broadstone, Swanage, London and Folkestone during October.
The duo will perform at Tom's Tap in Crewe on 9 October and Artisan Tap in Stoke on 10 October, with local favourites The Blue Yellows supporting them at those three shows.
More new music is also on the horizon, with barn54 currently planning a new EP for early next year.
