A new exhibition, 'Four Visions of Cheshire', by four Cheshire-based artists, has opened in the Millennium Gallery at Nantwich Museum and is due to run until Saturday 28 March.

Exploring various landscapes in Cheshire, ranging from the start of the Dee estuary through to Delamere Forest, the hills around Beeston and around Nantwich Lake, the artists have employed very different styles using a broad range of methodologies and materials.

The artists David Kereszteny Lewis, Ali Kippax, Andy McFadden and Jon Clayton all come from educational backgrounds, and display a strong understanding of the creative process.

They portray the ever changing conditions in landscapes and the effect humans have had on them.

The artists also convey a sense of connection with the environment and abstract impressions representing objects and features.

All the artwork is for sale together with merchandise including cards, postcards and books.

A free workshop is planned from 11am to 1 pm on Saturday 14 February in the Millennium Gallery using the exhibited paintings as a starting point to make prints using a portable printing press.
