Section of busy Nantwich road to close for three days

The southern section of a busy road in Nantwich is set to close for three days, allowing for the replacement of a pedestrian barrier and fence.
Pillory Street South, between Park Road Roundabout and Station View, will close from 9.30am on Monday 12 January.
The South Cheshire road will remain closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm until Wednesday 14 January.
During the works, carried out by Cheshire East Highways, the alternative route will be via: Wellington Road, Audlem Road, Peter De Stapleigh Way, Elwood Way, Newcastle Road and London Road.

The diversion route continues via: London Road Roundabout, Crewe Road, Millstone Lane, Beam Street, Oat Market, Swine Market, High Street and Waterlode.
Pedestrian access is still permitted throughout the works.
