Firefighters tackle bungalow blaze near Nantwich caused by 'electrical fault'

Crewe and Nantwich fire crews tackled a bungalow blaze near Nantwich, believed to have been caused by an 'electrical fault.'
On Friday 29 August, Cheshire Fire and Rescue service were alerted to an incident on Mill Lane, Blakenhall.
At 4.19pm, two fire engines from Nantwich and Crewe arrived at the scene, discovering a blaze at a detached property.
South Cheshire firefighters found the blaze was coming from the bungalow bathroom, using a hose reel jet to put out the flames.
No injuries were reported in the incident, with all house occupants accounted for.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Fire crews arrived at a detached bungalow which was heavily smoke-logged.
All occupiers were quickly accounted for and are not believed to have been injured.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus located a fire in the bathroom, with the most probable cause believed to be an electrical fault.
"A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire, and a high-pressure fan cleared the smoke."
